Green Planet Agriculture is a private Australian company with significant commercial and corporate capacity within the board, management and shareholder ranks.

The company has the exclusive Tasmanian grower rights to a high-yielding cherry plum hybrid by the name of Nadia, which enjoys compelling supply chain, shelf life and antioxidant characteristics. It presents on the palate as cherry and has a diameter in the order of 40mm.

Nadia is not genetically modified.

Green Planet has three grower partners located in different locations around the State who are participating in trials to identify optimal growing conditions for each region. Current trees are approaching first fruit and small in number, but commercial-scale plantings will commence in the near future as 5,000 trees currently in tissue culture become robust enough to leave the nursery.

Whilst the company waits for its Nadia trees to grow and bear fruit, efforts are underway to diversify its agribusiness interests via significant acquisition or through the development of new projects in the broader Agri space.
