greenplanet has recently won a contract to supply Queenbeyan Council with an MT8000 Mulchtech Mulcher
greenplanet has recently won the Qeenbeyan Council tender for the supply of one of our innovative MT8000 Mulchtech Mulcher. greenplanet won this contract against 5 other competitive Tenderers, all imports.
Council has suggested that greenplanet won this Tender based on our superior technology and low ongoing running costs. The running costs outlined in our winning Tender were approximately $300,000 less than any of our competitors. This is a great credit to our Rosebud Research & Development and manufacturing teams who have gone on to design, develop and build the MT8000. It is obvious that our MT8000 offering is extremely competitive against highly respected and well capitalised imported mulchers.
greenplanet MT8000 a finalist in the 2006 NAB Agribusiness Awards
The MT8000 Mulchtech Mulcher was recently a finalist in the Technology and Innovation section of the 2006 NAB Agribusiness Awards.
The MT8000 was selected based on its status of being the only Australian designed and manufactured commercial mulcher in its class. This innovative design includes the manner in which the green waste material is pulverised, rather than cut, thus breaking up its structure and achieving the necessary particle size for composting. In addition, the MT8000 and composting process are patented, are organically certifiable, and have not been duplicated elsewhere in the world by comparable machines. The quality and particle size of the end product produced results from the unique, patented design of the mill. Products that the MT8000 can produce include quality mulches, composts and biomass for renewable energy applications.
